The Next Deptford Last Fridays

26th March 2010 - 6.30 till late...

Last month we saw hundreds flock to Deptford yet again, our late night openings featuring many previews and exciting shows within our creative hub. This months Deptford Last Fridays will not disappoint. With many venues to visit, take your pick or visit as many as you can from 6.30pm onwards. Perhaps the new exhibition curated by Wayne Lucas at APT Gallery, Prognostic Bridewell, or a trip to The Lewisham Art House to see Cinetopia takes your fancy. BEARSPACE will be showing PRINT NOW, an innovative selection of prints and repetitions, with ARCH just around the corner housing gallery director Paul Marks' new installation, TRANCE. With many venues throwing open their doors late into the evening, the choice is yours. Finish the night by wandering over to the notorious Dirty Cop Party at The Old Police Station, where there is promise of music, drinks, dancing and mischief.

DEPTFORD ART TOUR - Saturday 10th April!

Deptford is fast becoming one of the most talked about creative areas in London, with galleries and studios opening constantly, expanding the wealth of exciting visuals and innovative experiences that already inhabit the area. Each month we give you the opportunity to explore this creative hub, with an experienced tour guide, who will show you another side to the area. Visit galleries and studios, meet artists and directors, and have the chance to view and buy amazing artwork. A chance to experience a behind the scenes viewpoint of the phenomenon that is Deptford.

This months tour promises to be exciting and diverse, with visits to galleries in Deptford and beyond, viewing photography, installation art, sculpture, film and much more. Meet outside New Cross British Rail Station, Meet at 2pm (please note this is not New Cross Gate or Deptford DLR Station)
